Backups are already configured for you in the "Backup Schedules" section of the "Backups" tab in the admin console. Although they can't be viewed there, you can use FTP access at ftp://<yourSubDomain> with your admin console credentials to view and download them. 

The default schedules are:

  • HOURLY: During working hours (8-18), retained for 8 hours.
  • DAILY: Once daily, retained for 7 days.
  • WEEKLY: Once a week, retained for 4 weeks.
  • EXTERNAL: Outsourced nightly, encrypted and stored in a data centre, retained for 1 month.

We asking to keep EXTERNAL backup enabled as it is crucial for data security in case of data centre issues. HOURLY, DAILY and WEEKLY rules can be adjustable but it is not recommended to change them.
